Not for the first time I’ve been browsing through the Alan Fletcher archive, compiled by his daughter Raffaella. One of the logos that particularly stands out is this elegant monogram for the Stravinsky Festival Trust.
“The Stravinsky Festival Trust, sponsored by Arthur Andersen & Co, held regular concerts of the composers works. The symbol, the initial of the composers name, was derived from the ambiguous visual relationship between a musical treble clef and a classical calligraphic letter.”
Designed by Alan Fletcher in 1979.
Another Fletcher mark in the archives: Islamic Solidarity.
